Loc Tips 101
pay close attention to your locs in the backrow - they are the ones most likely to collect lint! also, they are the ones that may collect the most shampoo residue, as many people tend to wash in the shower and rinse everything thoroughly and the soap trails to the bottom rows and dont get washed properly. so rinse thoroughly!
when wrapping your hair at night, make sure the scarf is before the hairline! i placed a hairnet on my hairline to tie my hair at night and after about 5 days, i notice some thinning!
add some more!

When you think you've rinsed enough, rinse more.
Lesson learned the hard way when I saw shampoo still in my hair after trying to rush through a wash.

Don't over twist, latch or palm roll. It'll cause thinning.

Enjoy your new, short locs by styling them and getting to know your hair. Don't spend your early loc journey immersed in loc envy.

Don't get loc envy!!
Love the locs that YOU have.
Leave your hair alone as much as possible.
Do what your hair and scalp tell you too. Not what someone els says.
Don't go to bed with wet locs.
Don't prune your locs. They may thin out.
Wash your locs. Don't try to hold on to a retwist because, you don't have the money to get your hair did. Wash your hair.
Do your new growth only once a month. You don't want thinning.
eat healthy, drink lots of water and take a multivitamin

Hair is hair, and you bond with yours over time. Your locks are YOURS, love them regardless and never insult your own hair.
what works for others, may not work for you.
