    Default Braids and sores?

3 months relaxer free!! Almost heading to 4 months cannot wait! Starting to finally see a curl pattern. But any who, I've been wearing my braids for almost two weeks. Today I took them out to wash my hair because my hair was itching like crazy and seen I had a red inflamed sore on the front part of my scalp. Anybody else experience this? I'm transitioning without the BC so I'm trying to find good transitioning styles that last longer.

What type of hair did u use? You might be allergic to the type of hair that you used to braid your hair with.

It could also be that the Braider put them in too tight. That happened to me and I took them out after 3 days.

i know that there is a certain type of hair that makes my scalp itch like crazy. Its a new human hair/synthetic mix. please stay away from that stuff. you can always see a dermatologist to get to the bottom of that sore

maybe it was product buildup or water quality...
