I am not sure where you live, but I get mine from Yes! Organic Market or Harris Teeter. I saw shea butter and a few EO in the hair supply store the other day.

Grape seed oil from my local grocer and it is very reasonably priced. Coconut oil from the beauty supply store and I think that they are overpriced. Will be looking more at buying oils from supermarket. (once i finish what i have).

I buy all my oils, butters, clays, bottle, tins, chapstick containers, essential oils, waxes, aloe vera gel, castille soap (which I use as shampoo) from Mountain Rose Herbs (http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/)

I love how the majority of their products are unrefined and certified organic. I appreciate that they have extra virgin oils (extra virgin avocado oil, extra virgin coconut oil, and extra virgin olive oil) -- all organic.

I don't have a Whole Foods close by either. Trader Joe's doesn't necessarily have what I want either. I bought organic, unrefined grapeseed oil from Mountain Rose Herb, while Trader Joe's had refined grapeseed oil. I initially bought the grapeseed oil from Trader Joe's thinking, "This one is so much cheaper! This should be good enough." Maybe for some ppl it is good enough. However, the unrefined, organic oil is very dark, almost brown, compared to the refined, non-organic stuff, which is a clear-yellowish color. The unrefined, organic grapeseed oil has so much good stuff (nutrients) still in it, whereas the refined stuff has the vast majority of the nutrients taken out and damaged through chemical processing. That's my 2 cents actually, more like 3 or 4 cents, lol I hope it’s helpful.
