I want to join because I've been buying up random products just because. I don't use more than 2-3 products (usually condish + gel+ oil) at a time. My challenge is to not buy any new items .
Products minus shampoo (Suave Captivating Curl) and condish (NDD or V05): 3
1. V05 Shea Cashmere for leave-in
2. Texture My Way: Curl Keeper for styler
3. Coconut oil to seal
OP, how long is this challenge for, or are we setting our own end dates?Big Chop: Nov. 14, 2007
Current Length: MBL
Hair Type: kinky-coily/curly, cottony, medium density
GL1: WL (stretched) GL2: HL (stretched) UGL: Full SL wash n'go

I'm working towards getting down to just a few products. Since we're not counting shampoo or conditioner (right?), here are my other current staples:
1) Aloe vera juice
2) SM deep treatment masque
3) SM curling souffle
4) Oils (castor, vatika, a mixture including tea tree and grapeseed)
Question - Do I have to count each of the oils separately?

1. Co-wash weekly with Herbal Essence Totally Twisted or Suave Pantene knock off. Once every two months shampoo with Kinky Curly Come Clean, though.
2. Castor Oil to style.

I have been using only water as my leave-in for almost 5 full months, possibly closer to six. I use L'Oreal's cleansing conditioner and then I don't use anything else and my hair is NOT dry. It feels GREAT! I have always known that my hair felt best without anything on it, but I was using a sulfate based shampoo followed by a traditional conditioner and my hair and scalp wee suffering. I have dermatitis, and I usually have flaky, itchy scalp, but not since using my L'Oreal.

Hi Ladies!
My current regimen includes:
* Coconut Oil
* Jojoba Oil
* Olive Oil
* Canola Oil
* Honey
But, if this challenge includes 0-2 products, I'm going to have to think about what I'll narrow it down to.

Ok, for 30 days (starting last night), I'm going to use canola oil and honey as my products. This'll be interesting. Canola oil might be my new favorite product because it absorbs REALLY well. We'll see how I feel about my decision on Nov. 22....
