    You shouldn't use soup or alcohol to clean piercings (or any open wound for that matter). It kills bacteria, the bad AND the good. Good bacteria assists in the healing process. Rotate your post and clean with warm, sea salted water. There are some gentle cleaning solutions that shops will sell for cleansing. But I just suggest going the warm water/salt route. Some people can use rough cleansers without a problem. But it does sound like you've overworked the piercing with the soap.

    needle- only go to a proffesional... but people with the "gun" have more options to take of yourself... never get pierced in the alley where the metal falls apart...
