    Default Wigs!

My family is from down south so the first time I tried a wig on (mid-august) 2 years ago, I sweat bullets and ripped it off of my head while swearing never to try another one on again.

My mom permed her hair for over 10 years and it barely grew. She decided to do the big chop 6 years ago then began doing messy braids while wearing wigs because it was the simple way to look stylish. Her hair has grown at LEAST 3 inches in the last couple years. She said "for the first time ever my hair is growing past my shoulders". She's retaining her ends better than ever.

Today, after talking it over with my mom I decided to try it again. It's the perm I never have to have again! I didn't even have to work on my hair. I just put it in messy twists, pulled it back and put the wig cap over my hair. I know I'm stating the obvious but WOW!

I'm going to endorse and try this out for a few months. I just wanted to let you ladies know that if you ever have a lazy day, a wig or two wouldn't hurt

I've been super ultra lazy with my hair for the past couple of months and have been wearing wigs most of the time. I love wigs<3 I've also been taking care of my hair underneath.

I highly suggest wearing a fitted silk cap or a durag UNDER the nylon stocking cap (or knee high stocking cap) to protect your hair from drying out and getting split ends from the nylon cap.

Thanks for the tip! I didn't know the nylon cap could do that.

This is my protective style of choice. I love wigs because it is stylish and gives me access to my hair.
