    Default Recently Sisterlocked Dry Ends

    Hi All
I’ve searched the other threads and couldn’t find anything pertaining to what I’m experiencing… Hopefully someone can help me… My sisterlocks are 5 days old and I have extremely dry ends. I’m sure it’s because my hair has been dyed in the past. I was told not to put anything on my hair until it settles but the dry ends are killing me!!! Anyone know what I can use that will not interfere with my baby sisterlocks? Any help would be appreciated!!! Thanks

    Welcome to NP.

My consultant was a realist. She told me if I need to use something, then use something.

I'm sure whatever you have on hand will do. Just use sparingly. A little light oil/water mix may do the trick.

have you tried banding and rinsing with plain water. My ends were horribly dry and frizzy when I first got my SL's installed. I had to rinse for a few days, and eventually what little curl pattern I have appeared on my ends.

I tried banding and rinsing with water but that seemed to make it worst once it dried....
