Default Micro Twists on Transitioning hair?

    Hey all,

I've decided to try micro twisting my transitioning hair- just wondering if this is a good idea? Once my Aloe Vera Juice gets here I'm planning to give it a go over the three day weekend coming up. If anyone has any advice for me that'd be great, especially on how to keep 'em moisturized once I'm done!

From what I noticed, anything "micro" can lead to breakage at the hairline. I would just recommend anything from box braids, tree braids, kinky twists, or anything in that category. Women I've seen have had and keep getting these "micro braids/twists" and find themselves balding at the edges. But this can come from keeping the braids too long or even getting them too tight.

Are you twisting with extension or just your own hair?

Micro twists are fun... I used them to start locs... when I used to do them myself it would take like 3 hours...
