Since the other thread is locked I wanted to start a new one. List your routine, what products you will be using, and your current length. Every 3 months check in with a PICTURE UPDATE!
I'll Start with my winter (current) routine
Co wash my hair once a week with VO5 conditioner
2x a month wash with shampoo( Shea Moisture Shea Butter Shampoo)
Weekly Deep condition (Shea Mositure Shea Restorative Conditioner)
Monthly Protein with henna
Leave in will be a mixture of Shea Moisture restorative conditioner, water, Vo5 and Evoo. And I seal with my safflower oil/sunflower oil Mixture
I will be protective styling with updos and twists and buns and wearing my hair out 2x a month so I dont get tired of protective styling
Here's a pic from December since I didnt get to take a January pic. I actually pulled my bra over my back fat but I'm MBL here.

Lookin' Good NIAN. Lookin' very good!
I still need about 4-5 inches (I think... I dunno) and then I'll be comfortably there. However, I'm planning to get a deva cut soon though. I can't take it anymore. I called a salon today and I'm waiting to hear back. Apparently he has a very long waitlist, so we'll see how this goes.
My Routine?
- Keep my hair twisted (at least until I can get a haircut. It's so misshapen that I hate looking at it when it's out.)
- Co-wash/rinse and moisturize daily or every other day
- Deep condition every two weeks and re-twist
- Shampoo as needed
Nothing new or special here.
I'll post pics when I take this set of twists down.

I want to join!! I will be WL by December dang it!!
I'm going to try and stick with wash n'gos, buns, and ponypuffs ie. low manipulation and what my hair likes.
Routine:
HOT once/week
ACV rinse every 2-4 weeks
Dust ends every 3 months
Detangle once/week
Cowash 1-3x/week
I plan to alternated between a week of a wash n'go, and a week of bunning to get some PS in the mix. For products, I plan to use Tresemme Remoisturize(?) for cowashing and Climate Control or a cheap gel for styling.
I have my December length check in my fotki (check out siggy) under PS Challenge Progress Pics.Big Chop: Nov. 14, 2007
Current Length: MBL
Hair Type: kinky-coily/curly, cottony, medium density
GL1: WL (stretched) GL2: HL (stretched) UGL: Full SL wash n'go

~ A million hugs to whoever PANK'd me~

I'm still in for WL. I'm about 1 inch or so off from it but I'm really short-waisted so in the back I don't consider it that long. I'll be much more satisfied when my hair reaches the crook of my elbow.
Winter Routine:
Co-wash or shampoo 1/wk
Oil rinse with castor oil during the cold months
ACV rinse
Stretch hair in big braids
Twist and bun or just bun with loose hair
Always wear a hat outside and scarf for sleeping

I'm still in, but I haven't taken any new pics since the ones I posted in the last thread. My routine:
Co-wash/rinse my hair every week
Moisturize using castor oil/evoo condition
Wash hair w/ shampoo every 4-6 weeks
Twist my locs every 4-5 months

Hi all!! I've been "stalking" the forums for a while and finally decided to join in. I love a challenge : )
I just took my profile picture so this is the most current I can get. The Wen system is currently all I'm doing, If my scalp is dry I incorporate Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Oil shampoo/conditioner. I do add a sealant like Shea butter and moisturize with coconut oil.
I wash my hair anywhere from 3weeks to 6weeks depending on how I'm wearing my hair.
My fav protective style is a high bun or twists. The bun is much faster!! Oh I wear a satin bonnet or scarf when I go to bed.
My hair is just shy of bsl when straight.

How's it going ladies? How are you wearing your hair? We need some inspiration up in here.
I am lurking other forums because I need to keep focused and not get to complacent like last year. It's just not doing the trick for me though. I was going to post my start picture, but I swear my hair will be the same length as when I posted last year. *sigh* Not too much to see here, plus I'm wearing some boring ol' medium sized twists. Maybe I'll do an amla treatment or something. Mix things up a bit.
