Mud washes for Locs
Hello everyone maybe this was discussed before but I just wanted to know if anyone ever tried Terraessentials mud washes to clean their locks. Please share your experiences.

I believe Knotty Author tried bentonite clay to cleanse her locs and found later that it never fully rinsed out of her locs. She advises staying away from it. I personally haven't used it and probably wont as my shampoo is doing me just fine

Anything with the consistency of mud or clay is a recipe for build up

Yeah, I thought about doing this but the idea of not being able to get all of the mud out terrifies me.
I think that the vinegar and baking soda rinse does just as well.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

The Terresentials Mud Wash didn't really seem like a mud consistency to me. It seemed more like a thick shampoo or conditioner. On loose hair it rinses out like a regular shampoo. I know Ava'sMommy uses it on her locs. I follow her blog at http://embracingmycurly.blogspot.com She also has a Youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/avasmommy2007 HTH!

Thank you guys. The reason why I asked was because watched Ava'sMommy videos and also qochemist (she made her own mud wash) on youtube and both of them seemed like they had no problems with it. I am really not enjoying my experience with shampoos and I have tried alot and the mud washes seemed to work for alot of people. I just wanted to know if anyone else with locs tried mud washes. I decided to order Terressentials mud wash and I am going to try it if the works for me.

Hello every one, so I washed my hair with the Terressentials mud wash and I love it it cleansed my hair and left it moisturized and soft, and it washed out of my hair easily. On my blog and fotki I have pictures.
