With the cold weather I've changed my routine.
I was once a week with Giovanni Tea Tree Shampoo
Daily I spritz with plain water and use jojoba oil as leave-in
At night I do a scalp massage with tea tree and rosemary essential oils in jojoba and olive oil
Cowash in the middle of the week

Hello Ladies,
I was having trouble logging onto this site. I am 8 months in... YAY. I colored my hair purple but it faded to a reddish brown . I am currently using Shea Moisture products. I did a Hibiscus and Coconut Oil challenge. My hair loves that line. Since it is getting cold and my hair is getting longer I will began protective styling. I have 4a and 4b type hair. I try to comb it out, but I feel that I loose too much hair. Any advice on combing out a twa?

So my scalp issues are making it hard for me to keep my hair braided. My scalp itches so BAD because of my psoriasis. My hair is also getting fairy knots badly. Any advice on how to get rid of these?

Hi everybody,
here's a quick rundown of my current hair progress. Last month, I got braid extensions and took them out after 3 weeks (couldn't bear the itch even after washing) currently I have yarn braids will carry it till after Xmas (1 month) then I'll see how well my hair fared . I love protective styles because I have severe HIH disease but I hope they don't cause more harm than good. The last time I checked my hair was about 3 inches.

Helo,
I can't post pictures since I'm still new here but some parts of my hair are 6 inches already yay! Most parts actually. I feel so happy and accomplished but I know it will not end here. I hope to have 12 inches by June next year. I completed the challenge.

Re: 6 inches in a year
I know this is an old challenge but starting this month I'm starting this challenge. May 2017 I hope to have 6 inches of growth. This is how I will achieve growth:
Starting 16 May 2016
I will shampoo weekly
I will dc weekly
I will oil my scalp at least 3x a week
I will moisturize/seal my ends at least 3x a week (w/shea butter)
I will drink a(kale or spinach smoothie) 5x a week
I will take supplements
I will exercise 5x a week
Incorporating this things I should see results
