wow .. was that vet actually a mouse in disguise?

my vet also prescribed some diabetic formula food that i couldnt afford. i ended up doing some research on the webs and found that fancy feast makes 4 flavors that people with sugarcats (yeah that's a term ) have been using for years with their kittehs. that ended up being WAY cheaper than the vet stuff especially since i can buy it buy the caseload for cheap from amazon.

plus now wellness core has high protein dry food which is awesome because now i can go away from the weekend and not worry about leaving out wet food for my cat.

I read the poor thing can't walk too much without getting winded. I don't think anyone has to worry about Meow walking over their back. I doubt the poor thing can jump on the bed.

aww i hope he loses weight. there's probably a lot of free feeding going on though, so maybe they could get something like those timed release things?

although i'd hate meow walking on me. i LOVE him to lay on my back. that's like having a cushy hot rock placed on your back. shoot some people pay good money for that type of thing at a spa

Kit-tay may be sweet in the face, but something's broken if a cat can eat himself to obesity-- which is gross across the board.

Babies are sweet, but 23 lbs? Perverse to me. Unnatural.

New reports say that Meow died of pulmonary failure.

    The announcement on FB.
NY Daily News: 39-pound fat cat ‘Meow’ dies of respiratory distress, Santa Fe shelter announces

I'm thinking flying around a cat that big couldn't have helped. My cat was a little thing and traveled with me on planes a few times, including long-haul international flights. It was traumatic for her. I just knew it was more traumatic for me to leave her behind, so I did it.

    RIP big guy.
