Maybe I'll experiment with some styles this weekend. I would like to henna my "highlights" at the temples, but I cannot be bothered.

So Lockolatte, whenever I see you post and see your avi, I think our locks would be the same age. I started my 1st set days after you started yours. LOL I think I'll like these better though. They're the size I want and I got the loose bug out of my system.

So here's the latching tool I made out of a paper clip and weaving thread, accompanied by a clamp and my favorite Goody's barrette. Why buy a tool when I can make it with things that are in my home... Yep, I'm pretty sure I'll be making more of these just in case I lose one. lol

Finally learned how to braid a fishtail braid. Man it was so much easier than I thought it would be. Learned hoe to basketweave too, which was equally as easy. Lol

@Psyann: I have the same barrette! I need to get some more of them now that my locs aren't too thick for them to work. I think I'll be making that same tool for my first retight. I used a bobby pin with my daughter but I think I'll need more control when I do it on my own head.
