I just love them..more & more everyday. Plus I feel as black people, our hair is too precious to shed and locs holds on to all the kinky goodness.

I've always been a fan of braided hair look and just don't have the patience to deal with loose hair, whether it's natural or r/elaxed.
Also, I am a big fan of the minimalism. All I need is shampoo, conditioner, and water water water. No need for cremes, detangling products, combs. I am a big fan of the no-fuss rinse.

i like to grow dreads for simplicity's sake. more specifically, i have a deep respect for letting my hair do what it does naturally, without much interference from me. the end results are always gorgeous to me, i LOVE dreadlocks, locs, however one chooses to call them!

Locs are the best hair decision I've ever made! I am a terrible length whore, so the thought of long hair without chemicals, heat or excess manipulation should have been a no brainer to me years ago. My daughters had a whopping "cleaning out moms's stash" party when I locked up. I guess the why is for convenience, length and cuteness factor.

Locs were also my best hair decision. This hairstyle has transcended into my lifestyle and I wouldn't have it any other way.

•First I wanted to go natural (sucked at doing my permed hair and knew I would suck at doing my natural hair when I BC'd lol), so why not go natural and loc my hair

•I'm also an impatient person so I wanted to do this to test my patience (so far so good) seeing the progress of my hair is a reminder that I won't regret this decision and I will soon have beautiful locs

•wont have to worry about rushing to do my hair when I have to be somewhere (all I have to do is fluff out my hair after I've taken off my scarf and be gone!)

•just wanted to try something different

I just started my locs 9 days ago. It's so easy. Plus it's convenient because I workout 5 days a week. I didn't want to continue to style my hair. I wanted to be natural without all the headache soooo locs were the right choice for me.
I am going in whatever direction my natural journey takes me....
