Nice pics. I'm struggling to see your sis as a 65 year old; She looks wear near that.

I was the only sister of five that relaxed their hair for any length of time, 3 others tried it and abandoned relaxing after a short trial. One sister revisited relaxer again recently, I don't know that she's inclined to keep it up once the novelty wears off. I've don't think the eldest has ever relaxed hers.

I'm the youngest at 51.

I went natural five months after turning 30. The following month I gave my sisters Good Hair as a Christmas gift and four months later they BC'd (one at age 28, the other a few months shy of 27). That was almost 17 years ago and we're all in our 40s and still natural.

My niece will be turning 7 soon. Aside from a few short stints with extensions she's as natural as the day she was born. If we were all still relaxing in 2005, I suspect my sister would have gone natural first because she would have wanted to set an example for her daughter.

The three of you are lovely!
We are 5 girls. Three of use are napptural. We all have locs. I had loose hair for at least 8 yrs. Funny thing is that it´s my youngest sister who inspired two of us to go napptural. But then she eventually went back to the lye and lace fronts and all that. Then I encouraged my oldest sis about going natural, and she did, and had her locs before I had mine.
I´m gently working on the sister that follows me. She seemes interested, and even told me that she´d not permed her hair for a long time, but then her kids got lice at school, so she quickly went for the thing that would kill them nice and good. The lye!
