How long did it take your locs to condense fully?

I would say about a year, but I too wasn't paying too much attention.

I was just happy when the two-strand pattern I had went away.

About a year to condense in length, and then another year to condense in width. Don't remember exactly though.

It's crazy, my two-strand twist pattern hasn't disappeared at all and next month will make it a year since I decided to loc. I mean, my hair won't come out easily, but I still have the pattern. In any case, I believe my locs are rather condensed, as I haven't lost any more length in the past couple months and it's been almost a year.

I'm at two years, and mine did a lot of condensing in the second year. I don't know if they're done condensing yet or not.

    condense (thick, phat, compact)-2 years
tighten and lengthen (elongated, tight meshwork, decreased in width) - 3.5

    * so, those that only give a lock journey 2-3 years are really cheating themselves. The journey is JUST taking off at that point!

I completely agree. My hair didn't completelu condense for just shy of 2 years. My hair began to really take off about year three.
