Does anyone know of any career networking events for people moving to NYC? What about any upcoming job fairs?
*****UPDATE: So, I am unable to do an internal transfer for my current position...apparently, there's a hiring freeze at the NY office **rolls eyes**...so, that means I will be pounding the pavement hard in trying to conduct a job search from such a long-distance. My lease is up June 1st, which means I have to find something by the beginning of May, preferably by the end of April.

**Update: Still no responses from the job postings I applied to...In the meantime, I am still doing my research and saving money of course I plan on visiting NYC again in July for the Harlem Book Fair. Hopefully, I will be able to put everything into perspective the more I visit the city and the surrounding areas.
