^is there a way to thin down that topcoat, rather than purchase a new bottle?
& sorta off topic...kinda on.
I went to hug my soror goodbye today, and as I held her arms they felt sooooo soft!!!!! I mean, like butta. She told me that she uses Palmers gel first, then layers a Bath and Body Works lotion on top. I need to start layering my lotions with a gel or oil. Lotion alone isn't cutting it.

^There is nail polish thinner, I know that Essie has one. Maybe I'll try it. ETA: a quick research revealed that polish thinner is the solution. I can't believe I didn't think about it sooner.

^^ i never knew i was exfoliating my skin for the longest time..
first off i think i get "exfoliation" mixed with "cleansing.."
i use the scrub sparingly because the dead skin is already off due to the soap i use.
and if i scrub too frequently i literally tear my skin apart. i basically clean the skin, once a day (light shower afterwards) to make sure it's clean. i clean until i am able to scrub against my skin and have no dirt/dead skin come off. then i apply glycerine+water+grapeseed oil on skin and shea butter on face. it has been working for me, and glycerine (when diluted heavily) works wonders.. african black soap also works wonders..
now that i think of it, i think our culture places too much of an emphasis of being "squeaky clean" or so it seems. squeaky clean skin is not necessarily healthy, although i do clean my skin up to this point. hmm hmm

^ yeah, i've never been obsessed with squeaky clean skin. but i guess if you looked in my medicine cabinet you would think otherwise :P
my skin has been so nice to me in my life thus far *knocks on wood* cuz i don't have a regime and ppl asks me time to time what do i do to get nice skin. If they only knew how bad i treat it sometimes
