Still cupping here and loving it! Got mine last May and always used a liner; as of last month, I don't even use a liner anymore. It's really easy and hassle free. It's weird because I can actually feel when it's full and I just run to the bathroom and empty. One other change I've noticed is when I used pads/tampons, there was always a few days of brown discharge after my period where I would use a liner. I don't know if I'm not getting that anymore or just don't notice it. On the last day of my period, I leave the cup in all day usually and the next day there's no need for a liner and no discharge.

I may have to give up Diva . The last couple of months (not sure how long it's been going on) I've been having a rash or something very painful down there during my period. It really didn't occur to me until last month it may be the cup. Just had my period last week and decided to use tampons....no rash/pain/irritation at all! I wonder if I'm allergic to silicone. Hate to give up the cup.

Hi! Have you trimmed the stem off of your Diva Cup? I know that was the cause for some irritation/discomfort early on.
There are other cups to try!
Moon Cup - silicone
Sckoon - silicone
Lunette - ?
Keeper - rubber

Thanks ladies! I never trimmed the stem off my diva cup. I also wonder if it could need a good boiling. I don't think I had this irritation problem at the beginning but I have had it over a year and have never boiled it. Could that be the problem?

I haven't ever boiled mine. I did cut the stem off after a few months, though.
