Wow! That is a big change, but I think the color is really nice. Your loctician did a really good job!

Hi All. Red is so the it color now! There are so many colors to choose from now too. I am so ready for color now that I decided not to wait until my third year loc'd. So many peeps do theirs right after getting locs and they are fine. I'm feeling comfy at 2 and 1/2 years so I will start choosing shades. I want more of a plummy red if that makes sense.(sounds awful) I can see it in my minds eyeand it's pretty. My work may be cut out for me though. Years ago I had two strand twist extentions in the shade I'm speaking of and I liked it with my skin color. It's not kool-aid super bright but shows up enough for us women of a particular age.I will only color less then half the length of my locs. I want to avoid permanent color on my crown and on my edges. Healthy hair is still the priority. Not sure when I will do it but I'm ready once I find that shade. You all help a sister out with any suggestions. I have not did color in over 20 years. I wore color with weaves and hair tracks so I miss additional color a lot. I want to do it myself because if the color does not turn out the shade I want after I pay someone I will be of the wrong mind set and I ain't got time for that. If I back out I will have to pay someone and deal with the consequences anyway though. Hmmm... We shall see. Peace and Blessings.
