Default Curl Boxes And The Hype

I was wondering if others have tried these curl box kits? How do you feel? I dont like to get cracked out on products, so i stick to my basics:

    African black soap
    Aloe Vera Juice and Gel
    Olive/Almond/Castor Oil
    Shea Butter in winter months

    * I'll mix in my favs'( Going Natural products and Shea Moisture) sometimes...but it's really that basic and not to deep to me. Am I missing something?

IMO, you're only missing the hype. Stick to the basics.

I've never subscribed to any curl companies...

I thought about it....but I already found what works for me. Plus I'm very particular, so I'm bound to get something with ingredients I don't like.

Don't want to spend the cash....

And it's a lot of hype...

And also, there was some drama going on with one company in particular. The owner was exhibiting some hoodrat behavior, and I will not give my money to someone like that.

The other company seems more ethical, but I'm just not interested. If I need samples of a product, I'll go straight to the vendor.

I've heard a few reviews but they weren't good ones. I'll stick to my staples and try something knew when I want.

I almost signed up, but walked away from it. It's just not worth the money in my opinion, and if you really want samples, most companies will give them to you for free or sell them for fairly cheap.

It's a monthly subscription service where each month you receive a box full of samples of different natural hair products.

Im a hardcore PJ, a subscription box doesn't make sense for someone like me. I never buy samples and the ends doesn't justify the means IMO

So these boxes only contain *sample sizes*? If you consider that amount on a product-by-product basis, is that even enough to do a full head of hair?
