Today is day 1 of my low maintenance ponytail experiment. It consists of rinsing my hair 1-2x a week, combing or fingercombing conditioner, tying a scarf on and letting it dry some, then putting it in ponytail. At night, I'm just putting a scarf on, and I'll take out my ponytail and soothe water and conditioner down the length of my hair, when it gets dry. I was lazy two nights in a row, and found out that I could just put my scarf on and let my hair hang down the back (without doing anything else), and not have a tangled, knotted mess in the morning. This experimental routine is what I used to do a lot when I was relaxed (when I was lazy) plus conditioner .

Low puff today. Sticking to out hair and low puffs/ponytqils from now on. It's just easier this way. I'm due for another trim though...will do it Thursday. My puff is looking nice and BIG though. Can't wait until it's OBNOXIOUSLY big.

Haven't touched Castile soap in years. And won't. Unless I use it as laundry detergent.
Yeah, I tired castile soap on my hair. No good. Too dry and top much friction like when I used regular shampoo with all the SLS and whatnot. I remember a woman somewhere saying that she used peppermint castile on her cchie and that shyt stung.

Everyone is like "ARGAAAAAAN OIL..." and I'm all like "...cocoa and shea still work for me.."

I don't know why the RAgan oil trend annoys me, maybe because all of teh companies hopped on the band wagon or maybe it's the fact we are exploiting a small place in Morocco for a fruit that isn't plentiful oooooor the fact that some people use it because some beauty company says it's the new WONDER oil. Right. I'm just going to stick with the good ole sub-Saharan oils. That are cheap and GOOD to me. I don't know, maybe I'm missing something here...
