i haven't worn my hair out in so long that i lost my touch. i tried naptural85's way of stretching the hair (put your hair in 8 twists and then pin them to stretch out the hair). anyways, yes it did stretch my hair but it wasn't bouncy and stretched like hers. i think i put too much product on my hair so it stretched out the ends way too much, making it look limp. so i had to put my hair in a bun.

i'm gonna be back in twists tonight. since my hair is already stretched i will be putting in mini twists.

After laying in bed for an hour, I decided that waking up at 7 to re-wash my hair was a worse fate than risking a bad hair day . So, I snatched off my scarf, sat in my bed in pitch blackness, and put my hair in 3 braids. Guess who woke up to a good hair day?!

I want to co-wash today, but I think I'm low on conditioner. Did a length check...just passed 6 inches a few days ago. Ends are a little dry.

A couple of months ago I started doing Amla oil treatments again. My hair is noticeably stronger, sheenier (word?) & since its washed out not left on my hair doesn't get crispy feeling. Yay.

I cut about 2 inches of hair off and I'm sure my hair will thank me for it. I don't even miss it (2 inches seems small but it's a lot).

Gurl.....I just saw "two hours" and was like But we cool...

Today is Tuesday and I am STILL trying to redo the rest of these twists. It seems to be taking at least 15 minutes per twist (take it down with lots of coconut oil, remove shed hair, apply QB AOHC, and retwist). It's not even that they're micro...it's just that they're really meshed AND I haven't had a lot of free time to spend on them. Once again I'm thanking all the gods that they're long enough for me to pull back. I guess I should also thank the gods for the ticklish feeling on my back that represents my hair getting longer. But I just don't have this kind of TIME to be spending on hair...and especially not on a hairstyle that's supposed to be saving me time!

I said I was going to stay in twists for the summer. The alternative I posted in my previous post is looking better and better...

may the force be with you! I dont know what it is but I cant keep my own twists in to save my life. After 9 weeks in this weave, I will be resting it for about 2 weeks and then back into kinky twists. I think its the fact I spent money on them and that they are long enough to put on top of my head that lets me keep them in

If I blowdryed my own hair , then I could pull my own hair back but "aint nobody got time for dat"
