Back to Relaxing Poll: Yes or No
This is an anonymous poll. I am very interested in the results, please be honest when answering. I'd like to learn more about how people's perceptions move over time being napptural. Please answer true to what your feelings are at this moment.
This is poll #1 out of a few more to come. Thanks you for participating! I look forward to reading any comments you may like to make.

Absolutely NOT.
On the other hand, I would definitely be willing to cut all of my hair off for a change of pace . A twa is so much FUN.

Cutie I was seriously pondering a twa a few months back... I had the clippers ready and all!

I've been natural for nearly ALL of my adult life at this point. I genuinely wouldn't know what to do with a relaxed head of hair. Plus, I don't think straight hair is attractive on me at all.

I can never say never but I'd say it's highly unlikely to happen.

I'm not going back. Relaxing was what I once thought was a necessary evil. I'd force myself to get one at 6-7 month mark. Now that I know I don't have to (which is mind blowing for me as I'd been relaxed since Kindergarten) I definitely won't. I too miss my TWA days though. When I need a big change, that's the route I'm taking.

I've been natural for a little over 4 years. I will NEVER get a relaxer/perm/etc. again. It was a painful, dangerous, expensive and unnecessary experience. I got relaxers because I didn't know any better.
The only future hair change I might do is cultivating a set of lovely locs.Big Chop: December 15, 2008

I'm on Team #HellNo. Lol
But I noticed on the FB page a number of posters were - IMO - rationalizing why they would texturize. I think since I've been on NP.com so long not only do i fully accept my actual texture and i know how to optimally care for it, I also know that whatever look I may want, chemicals are not necessary. I know my mind has really been changed in 10 or so years of being here (20 or so years of being nappy). Hopefully other people will not run back to what they know and allow themselves to change, too. It's Cheap to be Pank. Come to the Pank Side.
