You know you've got big hair when the lady in the pew behind you taps your shoulder and kindly asks you to scoot over a little to the right.

(BTW, my hair was checked by a gloved TSA agent once. Next time, I'll be quicker to dodge the gloves and ask that they change them first.

I was definitely caught by surprise

Maybe the machine tells them to check if a passenger's hair extends out more than a certain distance from the head.
The fact that I don't know how many heads they're feeling daily occurred to me, after I was already through Security and halfway down the ramp, into the Departure Gate Area - JFK Airport

Makes me mad!!!! Even if I tuck it into a 'small' tight bun they go touchin' my hair. I don't like it!If they changed their gloves ok-but no those gloves are touching everybody's body parts. Just nasty.

When I had locks, I couldnt wear a high bun b/c it hit the roof of the car getting in and sitting in the car. Or if I wore a bun to the back, my chin was in my chest b/c my bun was so big. So I just would wear my hair down when I traveled, then keep a scrunchie on my wrist.

When you have to dip your head down EXTRA low to get in and out of the car; particulary when you're wearing your hair in a puff.

When it's necessary to put a satin cap on the seat back headrest in your car because your hair continually rubs against it.
