It's like watching "Lifestyles of the the Beat, Bewigged and Beweaved". I watch in awe because they do something I cannot, and I respect that. I gave up on makeup because it either makes me look ashy or oily.

I had a dream that my eyebrows were twice the thickness of a regular eyebrow, like a freaking Magnum P.I. mustache over my eyes. So I tried to thread them myself and ended up threading all my eyebrows off. I was not a happy camper. I'm not into the drawn-on-brow look.

I gotta find a place that has Demeter fragrance testers. The Elvira scents seem very intriguing but I don't want to buy without trying first.

For some reason I never hold on to a tube of Clinique's Black Honey for more then 5 minutes, I always lose them So I found a dupe at a Indigo, a Canadian mega bookstore: Coco and Lulu by Cake in the colour Femme Fatale. It barely has a tint but it works, Smells like a mixture of Starbucks's moka with a death by Chocolate cake.

Overstock didn't have it so I did a little Googling and found some samples at Surrender to Chance. I also found out that Elvira released a perfume in the early 90s called Evil.

Anyone have any tips for lining your upper lid? No matter how many You tube vids I've watched, mine never ever looks right, IMO. I've heard you shouldn't stretch out your lid to apply liner to the upper lid, but is there another way to get this look? It seems so simple and yet it's the one make up look I have the worst trouble with. Thanks!!!

^ it's all down to the brush. pencils wont work especially if you want a precise line

either get a liquid liner, a gel liner, or my absolute favorite felt tip pen liner

oh yeah, i'm assuming that you're trying to get a doe/cat eye

I currently use a gel liner and brush from Wet N Wild. It may be trial and error, i'll keep trying, I'm not trying to do a cat eye just yet, just a simple line. Thanks for the suggestions!!

Eyeliner is part of my daily makeup routine so I can line my upper lid in one or two strokes. I use either an angle brush with black eyeshadow (almost perfect result all the time), a cream liner and brush or the good old fashion liquid liner. But before I had skills I use the short stroke technique that is demonstrated starting from the 2:30 mark.
