    Default New to nappturality!

    I have been relaxer free for five years now and would like to go without any heat at all now. My big question is do I have to do the Big Chop to begin styling my hair?

    No, you don't need to BC. You may end up working with a couple of drastically different textures, but it's been done either which way by many.

    Transitioners Discussion - Here's an NP forum for and in support of people who are letting their natural hair grow out fully without a BC of chemically and/or heat treated hairs.
