Default Short & Fat or Long & Skinny?

My locks are long, but skinny. I'd give anything for thicker ones, even if they were short.
One thing about the length is that it helps cover the bald spots. What's your preference?

On me, I like skinny locks. I like both kinds on other people.

This covers it for me. My scalp needs the air circulation that skinny locs afford. At least it was true when I had loose hair, as far as I know that hasn't changed. I love all types of locs on others as different people bring different vibes to/with their locs

I started this 2nd set of locs @ 316 {5 years ago}, and I just did a count yesterday of 154! I like both small and larger locs on others, but for my lifestyle now, I enjoy my larger locs, which a co-worker the other day "still" asked about my "braids" LOL. I told her, I have locs.

Mine are not fat and thick. I love them the way they are, but I´m always looking for any extra thin ones, and combine them. I love the look of thick locs as well, but not so thick that when they´re pulled up they seem too big for someones body or head, like they´d topple the head...
I also don´t like when they are so few and thick that I can count 3 locs!

My braid locs are long and skinny. I love them "for me" because they are versatile when it comes to styling and they dry pretty quickly. Also, being that my hair is fine and thin this type suited me better. At this time they are now brushing the tops of my shoulders. Being that they're skinny I feel I can let them grow to about mid back without them getting too heavy. But, I secretly envy the larger locs .

I love them all but for me I like thicker locs. I thought I wanted smaller locs for myself but ended up taking that set down because I couldn't deal with the maintenance time. Now I can retwist and not have it take all day (unless it's been too long since I last retwisted). I don't have a lot of length at the moment so I don't know how heavy they'll get.

Long and skinny....my length covers my bald spot when cutely styled. :-)

For myself-I prefer long and "smedium"...I've never been into either the super skinny look for myself and my hair is unfortunately too fine for big locs. However, my locs work for who I am as a person and I wouldn't have it any other way

I'm going to go with the skinny ones too, I have to rinse my hair late in the evening when I get home from the gym and I need it to dry fast, I know I will in the winter. And like Jazzy, it will help me cover the scalpy spots too.
