That's awesome! Used the products for years and still recommend them to others. I no longer use any of her line, but I stand behind the quality of the products.

I was in my local Target in Brooklyn today, and I spotted Oyin products in the "natural hair" section. The burnt sugar pomade, honey hemp, Greg juice, whipped pudding, hair dew, honey wash were stocked on shelves. There were even little "I'm New!" signs posted near the bottle. I was temped to buy some of the products but I want to read reviews first to see what I may like as I haven't used Oyin Handmade in years.

I just read an article on MadameNoire and had to come "back home." Congrats HoneyChild! I also remember when she started out.

I saw these products at a target (outside my area) over the weekend; got a little misty. I still miss Honeychild posting on napp.

Yes, it has been. I think all should continue to support the place where it all began, so this place could continue to be a vibrant community. There's just no other website out there on this topic where so many intellectual,though-provoking, challenging people have/do congregate. We go deep and that is what has allowed spin off product companies, YT sensations, Authors (yep, yep), stylists throughout the past decade into existence. Many entrepreneurship opportunities were birthed because of this community and my hope is that we as a people can continue to support those entities that supported and grew us…my rant because I believe strongly in this, thus, this site will continue to be an entity that I support because I believe in it and the mission #rantover-probably the wrong thread to have a rant but Sista Nati inspired me, so there, lol!

I'm going to have to look out for them! I've wanted to try their stuff forever, but I didn't want to just order blindly from their site.
