    @AR & Mrs Full.
    That's amazing....I remember when you were just researching and nervous . Congrats!

    Since ya'll are 'postin'... Ill give an update to my previous updates.
    For 2019 I'm settled with this set of locks. I experimented alot with the first set of locks; and I learned alot...thus I wrote about it, haha.
    2019 makes my 6th yr of locking. My first set lasted to the 7th yr.

    I have no intention to live life without them. When I get an itch I shave the undercut/sides or trim them down and it freshens things up for me. For now, I keep them at shoulder length. The longest this set has ever been was below braw strap and I chopped them. I dont feel liberated when they get weighty and I'm over proving I get attain length. I just want life to be carefree/hairfree and so far I'm at peace.

    When I took the breather to be lose it was so uncomfortable, distracting and exhausting. So, locked it is. If I ever can't maintain them myself, I"ll have to train one of my sons to tighten then for me, lol. I still wont go to a hairdresser. Life is too short for that.

    Happy New Year all!

    Y'all know what? I totally forgot that I cut 16 of my front locks a few years ago. In 2015 I cut them all down to a few inches and began braiding the front while leaving the rest alone. After a few months I locked them up again. Right now most of my locks are around behind length and I may be cutting them back to my lower back again soon.

    I also just want life to be carefree/hairfree. I don't want to spend all of my time worrying about my hair or trying to style it etc. And I sure ain't got time to spend all day at the beauty shop trying to get them done. I just let them coil up how they want and nurture them as we go.

    Happy 2019 to you also, Knotty Author and to all of you ladies!
