This weekend, let us all remember the legacy of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and those who fought and died before (especially before!) and after him, for the freedoms we now take for granted.
Let us tell our children of the fight to get his birthday anniversary deemed a national holiday, despite the fact that proportionally, more Whites and others, compared to Blacks, are reaping the benefits of his work.
Let us not forget the anniversary of the date he was murdered - which is less than three months hence.
