    Default Protective style no no??

Hi I've recently been wearing twists as a protective style and have been wearing them in a bun but I've realized that the ends are thinning out a bit. This seems to be counterproductive to me, but has anyone else experienced this or know of ways to deal with this? Thanks

If your ends are thinning, it probably means you're due for a trim. Protective styles don't typically cause this. Breaking ends usually means you're handling your hair too much and putting to much stress on it. Put your hair in some twists and snip your ends a bit using a good pair of hair shears. After you trim, you should see a big difference.

    Good luck!

I agree with Napia Mia. If your ends are thinning / getting scraggly , it usually means it is time to trim. Don't hold on to those ends. Be sure to use a pair of scissors that are ONLY for cutting hair, it is very important as using any old scissors may give you split and jagged ends.
