Default Going to Botswana, One day in Germany

I will be spending one month doing volunteer work in Maun, Botswana leaving at the end of June. I know weather wise it will be winter with variable temperatures so I am still trying to figure out what to pack and I’m looking for any information that would help make the transition easier.

I am also spending a day in Frankfurt, June 28, my birthday and am looking for suggestions and recommendations on how best to spend this day. It will be the first time that I will spend a birthday without my family.

    Any information would be appreciated.

Thank you for asking, The time spent in Botswana was amazing. The month that just flew by. I had a short visit to Zimbabwe and posted most of my pictures on Facebook but did a blog http://kamkamy.blogspot.ca/ which unfortunately I have not completely uploaded all of my writing. I found FB more useful to communicate on a daily basis.
In brief the people of Botswana were wonderful, the experience absolutely incredible.

I think the setting on my blog has been changed from private, so you can if interested read some of my experiences.
