Default Man, 27, Beats Girlfriend All Day Because of Dream

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...eated-him.html

This is very crazy. I think he just wanted to beat her and the dog.

Good thing she got a chance to call the police. Hopefully, they don't get back together.

Something about that wording "passed out" at the end makes me think alcohol and/or drugs were involved. Maybe the whole dream thing was a hallucination or a made up reason after the fact.

I certainly hope they don't. It's always so strange to me when people go back to someone who has abused them so badly. I hope he gets put away for quite some time.

What is the lame excuse for the dog? He dreamt the dog came to her rescue?

    1. The man is paranoid mainly because he's probably cheating.... so he's beating her just in case?
    2. One doesn't just wake up from a dream, whoop his woman and the dog. Girlfriend knew her man had serious issues prior and should have left already.

Logically yes. The abused returns because their fears are greater than the abuse. The fear: being alone, raising kids alone, homeless, self reliant, having to start all over or thinking no one else is going to love them. It's basically low self esteem. It isn't foreign when you're raised in this type of environment and have a false sense of love. Sadly the abused usually don't press charges. If so he'll be out less than a year. The abused must think they deserve better, keep cast iron skillets and hot grits on the stove.

Seriously, even if she had been cheating on him this isn't ok.

I had a dream? That's the same as saying "because I felt like it".
