Accredited Sonography Schools in the DC area?

Hello! I am a 26 yr old mother of an almost 1 year old. I want to go back to school to be a better example for my son and to be able to help (mybf) provide for him. I work and make ok money but ok isn't enough.

There are many schools that claim to be accredited but I'm sure aren't. Does anyone know of any schools that are and that would work w/a working mom? I just don't want to go to school, pay for school, and graduate to find out I didn't attend an acceptable school. Thanks in advance!

If you are still looking, Northern VA Community College has a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program that's 2 years long, HTH

You're asking the right questions. Whichever school you choose, ask upfront about their accreditation and get the name of the accrediting body. Then contact the accrediting body to make sure their accreditation is in good order.
