Tuition Reimbursement...USE IT!!
If your company offers tuition reimbursement, please use it. Especially if you don't have at least a Master's degree.
Even if you don't think you need the degree, go ahead and get it. It will be free and you never know what is going to happen in the future. It will only add to your resume.
I work with a woman who's been with the company for 15 years in fairly low level jobs. She's now trying to move up internally, but all of the internal jobs require a minimum of a Bachelors. I feel for her but at the same time, she has had 15 years to get a FREE degree. Tuition, fee, and books would have been covered.
Today, traditional, legitimate brick and mortar colleges offer online classes. It's easy to go to school and even if all you take is one or two classes a semester, it will be worth it in the future.

Re: Tuition Reimbursement...USE IT!!
Tuition reimbursement is one of the only reasons I've ever considered a job in academia. I know from undergrad that few things taste as sweet as a free (or nearly free) education .

Re: Tuition Reimbursement...USE IT!!
Worthless degree? I know a guy who got a worthless degree in History. He's the CEO of the multinational company I work for.
What's sad is that TR is one of the least used benefit. Folks aren't looking out for their future or their long term career/income growth. Degrees aren't a guarantee of anything. But if it's required for a certain job, at least you can check off that box.No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. -Eleanor Roosevelt

Re: Tuition Reimbursement...USE IT!!
My former employer (a Berkshire hathaway co) had a very generous TR. I was able to complete my BA degree but right when I enrolled in grad school, I got laid off. I decided to take that time off to pursue my master's anyway. Because I knew, if I didn't do it now, I never will or maybe it would take another decade. I am now in my final year and interning in the IT field, an opportunity that would not have occurred had I not signed up for TR. And a far cry from my miserable call-center, measly hourly wage days.
