    Default Max Hydration Method?

    Hello, Lovies!

I was surfing for a sweater pattern and I stumbled across the Max Hydration Method. I've never heard of it before. Is anyone familiar with it? Pros? Cons? Is this recommended for loose hair only? Or a Wash N Go variant?

    Thanks!

I came across it recently too. Looks like just another method similar to LOC (or maybe it's just a fad?). Reason I won't try it is b/c it specifies certain products that cost $$. There's also a testimony page you can check out. Makes me wonder if the people that developed the method are the same ones selling the products. They probably are...

I'll just be sticking to LOC method...

I looked into that awhile ago. It's a lot of redundancy. Wash your hair with this, rinse it out, then do xyz..... From what I read, a lot of 4c's are using it to force curl definition..... I say force b/c washing & applying 50-11 products in one sitting is overkill, IMO

I read about it a while ago. It's intriguing, but sounds like too much dayum work, and I'm lazy, so.....

I don't think they're using 50-11 products though. What they are doing, at least for the first 7 days, is doing a whole lot of stuff that I wouldn't have the time or patience to do.

Some of the individual steps (Cherry Lola, clay) have been used for a long time now. This woman simply put them all together and put a timeframe on it.

That said...a lot of these women's hair looks like mine and it's cool to see. I've been talking about YouTuber cynthiarf for years now...all I've been doing is following her method with a few tweaks for me. And actually her method is basically MY TWA method that I was doing way back when I first went natural. You don't see results as quickly though...it takes some time. God forbid anybody WAIT for anything though...
