I just read that over at Afrobella's except it didn't mention how (unless I missed how it happened. May she RIP.

The obituary said: "Born June 10, 1969 Titi Cree Branch died on Dec. 4, 2014 in an apparent suicide due to asphyxia. "

When I first read it, I thought it was another internet rumor. I mean she died on 12/4, but the only public announcement of it comes more than a week later from a random local news magazine...

But I went to the Miss Jessie's blog and there's an "in memory of" post up, so I guess that's confirmation enough. I guess they wanted to take a moment to grieve privately before letting the whole world know.

Disturbing developments are coming to light regarding Titi's suicide

Looks like the boyfriend is a con artist to the nth degree. I feel so bad for Titi's family.

Sad. I heard about her suicide late last year. What I heard it was tied to depression.

I didn't know the family had issues with her boyfriend. From the NYPost article that was posted there is nothing there that clearly points to him being the bad guy, but what we know is there is some tension between him and the family. There was also tension between her and her sister. All around it sounds like she was dealing with some stuff.

RIP, Titi. RIP.
