Re: 2015 Natural Hair Resolutions
@LB-Whoa! 20! You go girl!
@AN….you may find something, enjoy! mypinterest
I did the BC for New Years in 2005 and haven't looked back! To begin the 2nd decade of this journey, for 2015, I will:
….I will continue to let these locks grow and mature and not analyze/discuss, so done with that.
...I will continue to be nappy.
…I will continue to successfully maintain my own Sisterlocks and call them as such.

Hmmm...I've been natural since Dec 2005. I haven't been doing much to actively take care of my hair but its growing and healthy.
I'll make an actual effort to take care of it. And wear it out more often. I'm always wearing a bun or flat twists.

Re: 2015 Natural Hair Resolutions
Well, I recently put every hair product that wasn't in regular rotation in a bag in my back bedroom. It's not exactly emptying out the graveyard, but it's close.
Re new lines: The only new thing I've used so far this year that I've bought again is the As I Am Coconut Co-wash. Last weekend I went so far as to buy two more As I Am products -- the DoubleButter Creme and the Curling Jelly -- only to come to my financial senses and take them back to the store. With that $30 (!) I ended up buying another jar of Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie (along with some nail polish, lip gloss, cotton balls, and a Mother's Day card for my sister...natural hair products are f***ing EXPENSIVE, yo). As I was telling the saleslady: I KNOW this stuff works and I don't have time or money to be experimenting right now. Proof: Today's coily 'fro is ALL THAT and a bag of chips...I love KCKT but with KCCC my hair needs a heavier leave-in, period.
I'm back to washing twice a week and although that doesn't sound like simplicity I'm noticing that Dickey was right: More frequent washing/wetting is probably the best way to remove shed hair without using a comb. I'm still not entirely feeling my completely shrunken 'fro but I'm getting there. On the flip side, my longest layers are starting to pass APL, which completely boggles my mind.Hello, 2021. Glad to see you. Hope you're bringing us goodness and light this year!
