Potentially Moving to Philadelphia - Where to live?

I'm potentially making a move from TX to Philly to be at UPenn. Any recommendations about nice and safe areas for a single female with somewhat close proximity to campus is very much appreciated.

Hi. I'm originally from Philly. UPenn is in the University City section of town. It's a reasonably safe area but it has the normal issues that come with living in an urban environment.
