    +1

The fact is she grew up in a white environment with white parents so has picked up on the cultural communication and social mores in a way the someone bought up in a black community will not. She's going to present as a conundrum to most people on a some level, even if they consciously accept her as black/mixed.

Whatever she creates while wearing her blackface, she can walk away from if things go wrong. She has that privilege.

DeBe : I get the potential cuckoo in the nest situation with any child, but I have to assume that anyone questioning her genetic heritage hasn't seen you younger photos. I'm black and grown so I know all the stuff about colour variation through age and what not. NP is a primarily black site so I didn't feel a need to add all the standard caveats I'd consider adding if it it was a predominantly white site.

I was explaining my reasons as to whyI thought it might be possible for her to may have been mixed. Sorry if I offended, but that was the only way I knew how. It is interesting that her nose looks more 'African' as a white girl/woman in the pic and when she 'became black' she changed her nose to look more 'Euro' looking. It does surprise me that so many say that some black people are not bothered by this. The Black people I know are not so nonchalant about her posing to be black. In fact, they are annoyed about it.

    Fair enough, offense neutralised...

    The nose again...!

You're right though, the nose and rounded features must have helped the deception along, even though it looks less Africanish after the makeover, as you say. No one in the MSM has been brave enough to say it.

We have Black people who look "white" due to racial mixture.
    Some whites look "black."
I just don't have enough energy to care about this.

Ok but neither are the case in her instance. She was basically performing in blackface for the last decade, lol

@LB This article is raw n deep. I was hopeful it was not an article seeking to empathize or justify her. I appreciated her angle! Thanks for sharing!
