Default Dont know what to do at this point

ive been locd for about a year and a few months and im getting less and less motivated to do my hair any sort of specific way. I love my hair and i love it in styles but i dont have enough motivation to do it, since i do my own hair. The time it takes is just alot. Any suggestions or motivation?

If you don't feel like doing a style, then don't do it. Locks hanging loose is a style unto itself. You shouldn't feel pressed to do a style imo. If you want a style and don't want to do it, you could go to a salon and have it done for you. Other than that, you can spruce things up with headbands and scarves.

Think of locs not as a style but as a "hair texture." What do people with "straight texture" do when they get tired of styling? They put it in a pony tail or push it back and they move on. There's no pressure to do any styling. Just let the locs be on your head.

I am not one for styling either, like most have said already locs are a style all their own. That is one of the reasons I love them so. But I understand that you sometimes what to change you look. Try pipecleaner curls, twist or braid outs they are easy to do and the style last for weeks.

I've always found it helps to have one easy go to style. Save the styling proper for when you feel like it or if an occasion calls for it.

My really basic go to "style" when I started my locks, was just a head band to take my hair away from my face. Otherwise just I left it to hang as it was. As others have said locs are a style in themselves, so no need to stress.
