I agree with making your own products. I love to do this too. I like to make a spritz with aloe vera gel, water and also oils like castor and olive.

I like Royal Oils Deep Moisture Masque from Head and Shoulders, though it's a mass market product. I'm trying to save money.

I have been using Oyin Handmade's Juices and Berries and Frank Juice since 2009. I have made my own spritzes but I really enjoy the smell of Oyin and the way it moisturizes my locks.

I really like the Creme of Nature Pure Honey line, especially the hair mask. They're quite moisturising. As my hair grows out some more, I'll try the twisting cream.
