Re: Newbie Hair Care Regime
You're going to have to experiment with this.
I found that FOR ME, I was able to get away with cowashing every 3-4 days and shampooing once a month IF I used the right conditioner or co-wash cleanser. These days I shampoo with actual (sulfate-free, high-suds) shampoo once a week and LIGHTLY water-rinse in the middle of the week. I MIGHT co-wash in the middle of the week if I feel like it but only if I plan to reapply product AND let it air-dry the minimum hour I prefer to air-dry. I went through a period of using co-wash cleansers (As I Am was my favorite) but since I shampoo weekly I don't mind using an actual conditioner for my co-wash. One big reason I shampoo is because I get better results from my WNG when I start on truly clean (and conditioned) hair.Hello, 2021. Glad to see you. Hope you're bringing us goodness and light this year!
