Research on the online Nappy Culture

Dear Nappturality,

To introduce ourselves we are four students currently working on a research project for our masters in marketing at HEC Montreal. As part of our course “Consumption, Media and Participatory Culture” we have the mandate to do an ethnographic study of an online community. The objective of the study is to analyze the interactions of an online community by direct observation. Therefore, we are very interested in the Nappturality community and would love to use it as the basis of our analysis as we found it is a unique community, rich in symbolism and culture. Another reason that makes us very passionate about your community, is that one of our team members is of African descent relating to the different threads in your forum, as she is the truest of Nappies!

For that reason, we wanted to know if it would be possible for us to have access to the entirety of the Nappturality forum, as it would facilitate all of our research and analysis. All the data collected in our research will remain confidential and anonymous. Furthermore, we will provide you with a copy of our research paper, for you to read and enjoy!
