    Angry love my locs, but...

My edges make me sick sometimes. I've finally doctored what I think is my last problem loc on my back edge. The edges are the ones that keep trying to thin. I have combined a few and taken newgrowth from surrounding locs to braid into the problem locs to fix the issue. I hope I don't have to run into this again...but being only 3 years loc'd (in March), I'm sure I can expect to see this at least a few more times. Sigh. Any advice?

I let my edges be. If i want them tight, I spritz, put a scarf to smooth them down. Works for me. I do not try to integrate them into my locs along the edge line, because the hairs are so fragile and I don't want to become another locker slain by traction alopecia. #letitbe
