Lease signed by new tenants, I'M A LANDLORD! Never in my wildest dreams did I think this day would come, so greatful/thankful for this opportunity to start securing my legacy. We had reduced the rent by $100 but the current tenants agreed to the higher amount the day before we updated the listing, I see that as a sign that it's worth every penny!

Say Mirah, I was wondering since you're a CPA I assume you do your own taxes
I've been turbo-taxing for years and the rental income/expenses piece doesn't seem too complex ( on the surface), wondering if I should get a professional or just go with it? ...glad to see I can write-off any tax prep fees lol...

Yes! I do my own taxes
. It's not too bad just an additional schedule (I believe Sch. E). If you have the time, I would just do them myself if I were you!

yeah, I think I'll keep it moving on turbotax and do them myself...it's always been a FUN exercise, I know I'm a geek right??
