To those of you not worried about losing net neutrality (and those who are), understand theyíve been planning changes to your internet plans for over a year since the republicans swept the 2016 election.

Whenever big money is involved and people stand to make profits, changes can happen quickly. And there is a lot of money to be made for some very wealthy people now. Unless Congress blocks it, expect to see some changes pretty quickly next year if they donít.

The opportunity may be for smaller websites to gain more traffic as people will not be able to afford ďSocial media packagesĒ and there will be a hemorrhagic exodus from them.

Here in Australia we donít have net neutrality and you pay more for higher speeds depending on where you live. But there are no ďsite packagesĒ. Everything is open to everyone.

So, Iím going to wait and see what happens.
