Does anyone use Dominican hair products or is it just me?
I have tried a few products in my 4 years being natural and I started using Dominican hair products. My hair loves it if the any people using any please let me know what types. I currently use Crece Pelo and use a butter leave in with either coconut oil or olive oil. Any other products let me know thanks.

I haven't tried any but now I might, I'm just a bit nervous to put anything new.

Re: Does anyone use Dominican hair products or is it just me?
Since I'm recovering from thinning edges (find the details in this post), I decided to add Alter Ego Cren to my routine. I thought about it when I was literally going to NYC for a few days and remembered that there was something people were raving about that was a Dominican hair product. I'm already using emu and Jamaican black castor oil along with making sure to take a gelatin or collagen supplement. Also, I'm back to exercising pretty regularly, eating as healthy as I can manage (discipline issues with that one but always fruit and veg every day), and vitamins. My edges are slowly filling back in, but it's going to take some time.
I think it's a bit too much protein, so I'm going to roll the Alter Ego Cren back a bit to once a week. Initially, I was adding it before twisting and then I'd wait a day or two and add a bit more. Now I'll add it only after co-washing once time a week."The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it." - Chinese Proverb

Never heard of them either, really, but now I'm curious.

Re: Does anyone use Dominican hair products or is it just me?
Update. I still haven't used that bottle up. Like I theorized before: too much protein. I already do an Aphogee treatment every 8 or so weeks. The rest of the time it's moisture. I used chebe butter to fill in my edges and decided to try the Hollywood Hair Bar stuff. That actually seems to be working. Stay tuned.
