Hey yall, I'm not sure if this is normal but my hair is still ridiculously frizzy even at 6 months. My hair is primarily loced also. I use scissors to trim it at times but that might not even be a good idea. Is this normal that it's still fuzzy? Please let me know and if not any suggestions?

i think so.... my locs are at 10.5 months and i still have frizz/fuzz. i don't think it's anything to worry about, but if it just bugs you, i have found that when i do braidouts there is nearly no fuzziness.

My locs are coming up on 17 months old and there's still quite a bit of fuzz. I suspect I will always have it. I haven't done anything about it though because I don't really mind it.

I don't think cutting the fuzz (or burning it, as mentioned on another thread) is a good idea. You might be able to gel it down when you palmroll (IF you palmroll) but it's only a temporary solution.
Hello, 2021. Glad to see you. Hope you're bringing us goodness and light this year!

IA with both nckyola and lbell--and i wanted to add that 6 months is just about the hotbed of fuzziness. i think just about everybody's locks are fuzzy at 6 months.
